I have for a while wondered how to make a GIF image (animation)  from a screen capture, so after some time on google I found a wonderful small easy program that helps you do it, and it is accessible on both windows and mac. And the magical program name are, Licecap.

Head over to Cockos and download the program, how does it work?

Open up the program and you will get a frame, put the frame on the screen where you want to ”record” and create an animation.

When you put the frame where you want it click the bottom right button ”Record”

You will be prompt to save the image, select a location and the ”Recording” will start and hold on until you click the ”Stop” button in the bottom right corner.

It’s that simple to create a gif animation with Licecap (if animation dosent play directly, click to open picture in different tab and it will start)
